You don't have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you're navigating a specific challenge or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a supportive space to better understand yourself, build coping strategies, and move toward meaningful change.
-
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, your goals, your history, and any questions you may have. There's no pressure to share everything at once as we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

Most clients begin with weekly sessions. As progress is made, sessions may become less frequent depending on your goals and needs.
-
Sessions typically range from 45-55 minutes. I do offer extended sessions that are 90 minutes or more, however extended sessions are not covered by insurance.
-
There's no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific concern, while others choose longer-term therapy for ongoing growth and healing.
-
I accept BCBS, Cigna, and Aetna through the Headway billing platform.
-
I offer private-pay options, with the standard rate being $125 a session.
Please inquire about sliding scale options if needed as I am committed to making therapy as accessible as possible.

Telehealth sessions are available for clients located in Illinois. For those who live within the area, I encourage in-person sessions whenever possible. My passion and clinical focus are rooted in in-person care, where I value the connection, presence, and opportunities for experiential work that come from sharing a physical space. That intentional, in-person experience is at the heart of what The Counseling Cottages is being built to offer.
